Cancer affects people in ways that words cannot always describe. The emotional and psychological roadblocks that are – feeling and understanding that you are not alone on this journey – and that everyone around you has also been impacted, is difficult
for people to truly understand.
The Global Liver Institute’s creative collaboration exhibit has allowed those who have been affected by liver cancer an outlet for them to reach out and express their inner feelings by using art. Art is seen to be subjective – where every piece
can be explain and interpreted differently. A single piece of art has its own unique story – just like the way each person has their own story and lives through their own unique battles.
As you walk through the art gallery, you will be taken on a journey through each individual’s unique battles and struggles of being affected by liver cancer. Each art piece illustrates a different, compelling story.
This art exhibit is intended to raise awareness of and appreciation for the struggles and aspirations of patients, families, researchers, and clinicians in the liver community. Together, the Global Liver Institute and BTG Interventional Medicine are committed
to bettering the lives of those who have been affected by liver cancer.
We extend love to all those who dedicate their lives to diagnosing and treating liver patients
